Cooldown coming after another hot day in Orlando

Lows to dip into 50s across Central Florida by weekend

ORLANDO, Fla. – It will be hot Tuesday in Central Florida, but a long-awaited cooldown is right around the corner.

Tuesday's high temperature in Orlando will reach 88 degrees, above the average temperature of 84.  Rain chances stand at 40 percent.

The high on Wednesday will be in the low 80s, however, with the chance of rain remaining at 40 percent.

"Dry air moves in Thursday into the weekend, bringing highs near 80 and lows in the low 60s through Friday," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

The weekend highs will be in the upper 70s, with lows dipping into the upper 50s.

There's no chance of rain from Thursday through the weekend, Bridges said.
