Cooler temperatures arrive in Central Florida

Upper 70s, no rain forecast through weekend in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – A long-awaited cooldown arrived Wednesday in Central Florida.

High temperatures in Orlando will reach the low 80s, almost 10 degrees cooler than Tuesday's high.  Overnight lows will dip into the upper 50s.

"A stationary front will bring on and off light rain to Central Florida for the first half of the day on Wednesday, but rain chances will taper off by afternoon," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

The high temperatures through the weekend across Central Florida will be in the upper 70s, with early morning lows remaining in the upper 50s.

There's no chance of rain through Sunday.
