Cooler temperatures headed to Central Florida

Low temps to dip into 30s in Orlando area

ORLANDO, Fla. – Much-needed rain fell on Central Florida the last two days, and now, winter-like temperatures are headed to the region.

The high temperature on Friday will top off at 72 degrees in Orlando, with rain chances tapering off throughout the day. 

The overnight low will dip into the low 50s.

"We're going to see some clouds on Saturday, even some rain and wind," said Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges, who projected a 20 percent coverage area for the region.

The high temperature on Saturday will warm to 69 degrees, but overnight lows will drop to 37 degrees in Orlando early Sunday morning.

Sunday's high will only hit 58 degrees, with the low into Monday morning dipping to 38 degrees.

Monday's high will be 68 degrees, but temperatures rebound into the upper 70s for the rest of the workweek.
