DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Daytona Beach police are searching for a man they say vanished from Halifax Hospital after he was admitted for a mental evaluation.
Matthew Conn, 34, was taken to the hospital and admitted to the intensive care unit on June 8 after he attempted to commit suicide. On Monday, he was told he would be transferred to Stewart-Marchman-Act Behavioral Healthcare in Daytona Beach.

Police said he left the hospital at around 10 p.m. Monday and has not been found. He is considered an endangered missing person.
