Cops: Man disguised as Bright House worker sought in robbery

Man holds woman at gunpoint, ransacks house

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Kissimmee police are searching for a man who they say dressed up as a Bright House employee, held up a woman at gunpoint and pistol whipped the woman's brother.

Police said the man, accompanied by at least other two masked men, knocked on the woman's door on Winfield Drive September 26, forced his way into the home and demanded money while holding the woman at gunpoint.

The victim's brother tried to intervene but the robbers struck him with the gun and tied his hands behind his back, according to the report. The victim, her brother and 3-year-old child were led to the back bathroom while the men ransacked the home, police said.

The robber was last seen wearing a Bright House technician's shirt, blue jeans and black ball cap. He is described as light skinned Hispanic male, 6' – 6'4" tall, 150 to 170 pounds, 25 to 35 years of age with long brown/black hair.
