ORANGE CITY, Fla. – Orange City police say a man tried to steal an elderly woman's purse in a Walmart parking lot Wednesday morning.
Police said Michael Scheafer, 20, knocked down the woman and tried to grab her purse at the Walmart Supercenter on 2400 Veterans Memorial Parkway at around 9 a.m.

Scheafer is being questioned by police and the surveillance video is being obtained.
No other details were immediately available.
