DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The trucks will take the track for the Camping World Truck series at the Daytona International Speedway on Friday night, all leading up to the Daytona 500 on Sunday.
Friday's race is slated to start at 7:30 p.m., but it's not clear if the weather will hold up. Practices were canceled on Friday afternoon for the truck series as storms moved through Central Florida.
The starting order for Friday's race will be determined by practice speeds.
Meanwhile, Matt Kenseth nipped Kevin Harvick and Kasey Kahne at the finish line to win the first of two Daytona 500 qualifying races on Thursday night.
