Couple receives big bill for wedding they didn't attend

Couple gets $75.90 bill

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn – A Minnesota couple received a $75.90 bill after they RSVP'd for a wedding and didn't attend, according to an article on USA Today.

On the day of the wedding, Jessica Baker's babysitter canceled at the last minute. The wedding invitation specifically stated no children, leaving the Bakers without options.

After the wedding, Baker received a bill from the newly married couple for $75.90, which included the cost of two herb-crusted walleye dinners, taxes and a service fee.

The price reflects the amount that the bride and groom paid for the meals. The bill also requested an explanation for the no-show through either a card, call or text.
