Crews extinguish fire at Orlando rooming house where body found

Deputies: No connection currently to discovery of body last week

ORLANDO, Fla. – No one was inside or hurt after a fire happened Monday night at an Orlando rooming house, authorities say.

The fire broke out before 9 p.m. at the house at 2007 Morning Drive.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said crews were able to extinguish the fire and eight adults were referred to the Red Cross.

Lt. Paul Hopkins confirmed to Local 6 this was the same house where Harry Lieble (pictured, below) was found dead last week.

Hopkins said the Sheriff's Office will be back out investigating with the fire marshall, but right now doesn't see any kind of connection in Monday night's fire to the homicide scene from last week.
