Man steals $100K in jewelry from Fifth Avenue Tiffany's

Stylish thief quickly grabs necklaces left on counter

NEW YORK – A sharp-dressed thief pulled off a $100,000 jewelry heist on a heavily guarded store on New York's Fifth Avenue.

Surveillance video shows the man entering Tiffany's wearing a suit and tie, a driving cap and sunglasses. The posh thief talks to a worker and then continues looking around the store.

The thief returns to the front of the store and leans on a counter directly across from the exit. In a matter of moments, the man snaps up two necklaces left on the counter and walks out the revolving door while the security guard looks in the other direction.

Together, the necklaces were valued at around $100,000.
