Man steals bank deposits from employees near The Mall at Millenia

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police are searching for the man they say approached both a McDonald's employee and a 7-Eleven employee on separate days and demanded the store's bank deposit.

The man depicted in the composite sketch released by police, approached the McDonald's employee on May 13, and the 7-Eleven employee four days later, as each person was heading to her car, leaving their respective places of work to deliver the business' bank deposits, according to police.

The McDonald's employee was walking to her car with the bank deposit when a black newer model Toyota or Chevy Malibu pulled into the parking spot next to her, according to police. A man emerged from the passenger side of the vehicle and demanded the bank deposit in her possession and when she refused the man fought it out of her grasp and departed towards Millenia Boulevard.

The 7-Eleven employee, similar to the first victim, was approached by the same man while walking to her car, but this time the man was alone and on foot, according to police. He was able to force the bank deposit out of the second victim's hands and flee.

If anyone has information about who was driving the Nissan, police are asking them to call Crimeline at 1800-423-TIPS.
