HOUSTON – The snow was blowing hard near Houston, except it wasn't falling from the sky.
A determined dad rented a snow machine and bought 400 pounds of bagged snow so his daughter could experience winter.
"My kid wanted a snow day, and we're tired of not having snow days," said Charlie Diggs, "So I decided to get one and make it a snow day."
News spread quickly around the neighborhood about the whiteout conditions down the road. Soon enough, dozens of people showed up to make snowballs and snow angels.
Some of the kids said it was their first time ever seeing snow.
