DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -

Video released from Daytona Beach police shows commissioner Carl Lentz late last Thursday inside Club Topic, a strip club on International Speedway Boulevard, where he's accused by the owner of seeking sex in exchange for political influence.

Daytona Beach police did issue Lentz a warning for trespassing in the latest incident, after the club owner said Lentz requested sex from a waitress in return for less police presence in and around the club.

"He threw a drink on her," owner William Bittorf told police. "The girl ran behind the bar to get away from him. He tried to get behind the bar and I stood in his way. He says he's a city commissioner and he can have me shut down."

But Lentz said he was at the club to discuss the potential sale of the property.

His attorney, Lauren Koleilat, also said in a statement to Local 6 that Lentz was on the job.

"Carl Lentz denies any wrongdoing. Mr. Lentz is a commercial Realtor and was at the establishment at the request of the owner to discuss the potential sale of the property. The officer determined no crime was committed and documented the incident."

Local 6 also spoke to Bittorf, who said he's in talks with his attorney. He said he already has a lawsuit pending with the city for harassment and believes this incident will help his case.

According to WNDB radio, it's the second altercation the commissioner has been in.

In November, WNDB said Lentz was involved in a drunken altercation with a manager at a Ormond Beach restaurant. Police investigated, but neither side decided to press charges.
