A Daytona Beach store clerk foiled a robbery after authorities say he locked the gunman inside of the store.
The clerk at the MLK Grocery store made a 911 call to authorities during the Wednesday night robbery behind bulletproof glass, saying that when a man tried to rob him, he hit a button that locked the doors.
"How you going to leave? You tried to shoot me, man," the caller told the robber while on the phone with dispatchers.
When officers arrived on scene, they found Kenneth Kirkland trying to shoot the locks out on the door.
Kirkland was arrested.
