DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A Daytona Beach commissioner attended a meeting Wednesday for the first time since being under fire for incidents at a local strip club.
Commissioner Carl Lentz didn't have much to say to Local 6 at Wednesday night's city commission meeting.
Lentz told Local 6's cameras "no comment" when asked about his run-ins at two local businesses.
Lentz was caught on video showing him inside of a Daytona Beach strip club, where he is accused of asking an employee for sex in exchange for less police patrolling of the club.
Local 6 also obtained surveillance video last week showing Lentz getting into a fight with a restaurant manager months before the strip club incident.
No charges were filed in either incident and Lentz's lawyer says it is all being blown out of proportion.
William Bittorf owns the strip club that Lentz visited and attended the meeting.
"I'm hoping Carl Lentz will step down," said Bittof. "I never have anything to say to that man again. I trespassed him for life on my property. Hopefully the citizens of Volusia County will trespass him from a seat in politics."
Lentz did not have much to say at the meeting and none of the other city commissioners addressed the incidents.
After the meeting Daytona Beach Mayor Derrick Henry told Local 6 he has no comment.
The State Attorney's Office said they are still investigating to see if Lentz committed a crime.
