Fryer said she found Tariji Gordon unresponsive, but an autopsy shows the girl died from a blow to the head.

Fryer was indicted on March 12 on charges of first-degree felony murder, aggravated manslaughter, two counts of aggravated child abuse and tampering with evidence. They cover the events in the child's life from the time of her reunification with her mother on Nov. 17, 2013, through her death on Feb. 6 and the disposal of her body several days later, court officials said.

Fryer entered a "not guilty" plea on Tuesday at her arraignment.

Fryer is in Seminole County jail on no bond.
