Dense fog again blankets portions of Central Florida

Rain chances remain low in Orlando area over next few days

ORLANDO, Fla. – For the third straight day, fog blanketed portions of Central Florida, prompting officials to issue warnings to motorists.

"Some areas will see visibilities at less than a quarter of a mile at times," said Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges.  "We're likely going to be dealing with this again on Friday."

The Florida Highway Patrol posted weather warnings on its website, saying dense fog was hovering above Interstate 4 near State Road 434 and on State Road 417 in Oviedo.

Later Thursday, high temperatures in Orlando will reach the upper 80s.

There's a 10 percent chance of rain on Thursday and Friday.

High temperatures will hit 90 degrees on Friday and Saturday, with overnight lows hovering around 70 degrees.
