Deputies arrest man in string of car burglaries in Windermere

Deputies say man broke into cars at parks, used stolen ATM cards

WINDERMERE, Fla. – Orange County deputies have arrested a man who they say is responsible for a string of burglaries in Windermere over the past month.

Deputies said Terrace Odums, 26, broke into multiple cars around public parks near Windermere in the afternoon hours, stole purses and used bank cards immediately after.

He was arrested on Thursday after surveillance video from a business caught him using a victim's credit card he stole from a car at Keene Park, according to the report. Deputies said tips from residents led them to identify and arrest Odums.

Odums has been charged with burglary, fraudulent use of a credit card, grand theft in the third degree and criminal mischief.
