Deputies said the woman, Angela Alexander, used to live in Poinciana but now lives in College Park, Georgia.

Deputies released information on June 19 about an attempted armed robbery at the Walmart Superstore located in Poinciana.

A police officer with the Lovejoy Police Department in Georgia saw the story on the news and recognized Alexander, deputies said.

The officer contacted the Osceola County Sheriff's Office and Alexander was positively identified from a photo lineup, deputies said.

On June 20, detectives traveled to Georgia to interview Alexander who was already in the Clayton County Jail for a similar crime she committed several days after the Poinciana attempted robbery.

Deputies found a Walmart name tag that read "Lena" and paperwork that indicated Alexander was a previous Walmart employee.

Deputies said Alexander faces attempted armed robbery and aggravated assault charges, and will be extradited to Osceola County.
