Deputies call off search for missing Orange County woman after body found

Officials say Darcy Miller's car found at Hillsborough River State Park

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies have called off their search for a 30-year-old Orange County woman after they believe her body was found deep within a Florida state park.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office called off the search Saturday evening for Darcy Miller, 30, who deputies said left her home in the Lakeside at the Lakes of Windermere Condos on Thursday.

Deputies said at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Miller contacted family members, saying she was heading to the Mall of the Millenia to go shopping and did not return home.

Saturday evening, deputies searched around the Hillsborough River State Park area, where the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said Miller's car was found.

Deputies said the body of a woman was discovered deep within the park later in the evening, and has tentatively been identified as Darcy Miller.

The cause of death is pending an autopsy, but deputies said there are no signs of foul play. The autopsy is expected to be completed on Monday.

At this time, detectives said they are not searching for a suspect.

No other information has been provided at this time.
