ORLANDO, Fla. – Orange County deputies have charged a man with the death of his roommate, a Disney custodian.

Deputies said Thomas "Mike" Heath has been charged with first-degree murder with the death of Jay Stone, who allowed Heath and his family to stay with him for more than a week.

Deputies found Stone, 30, dead in his in Ocoee apartment on Saturday after his parents were unable to reach him for three days and he did not show up for his job at Disney, his family told Local 6.

Heath was found in Marietta, Ga., with Stone's car. About an hour later, investigators said they received a call from Shanna Heath, the wife of Mike Heath, who told them she and her two kids had been kidnapped. When officers met with her at a nearby hotel, she told them she felt that her husband may be involved in a nearby murder.

Shanna Heath has not been charged with any crime, as she is continuing to cooperate with authorities.

Heath is in custody in Cobb County, Ga., pending extradition for Orange County.
