Deputies: Chase ensues after robbery, carjacking

Search for second suspect continues, deputies say

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies say they are searching for second suspect involved in a bold robbery, carjacking and chase Wednesday night.

The ordeal spanned about three miles. Deputies said two men robbed a citrus store on Conway Road. The ensuing chase eventually came to an end on Michigan Street, authorities said.

According to deputies, after grabbing cash, one of the two suspects stole a bike from an 11—year-old.

Investigators said Paul Castro then rode it a couple blocks before carjacking a minivan.

The man bailed out on Michigan Street, but was soon arrested, deputies said.

Deputies told Local 6 they were continuing to look for the other suspect, a man in his 20s.
