Deputies: Gunmen stormed Palm Coast home, forced couple on ground

Flagler deputies say gunmen stole cash, jewelry

PALM COAST, Fla. – A 38-year-old Palm Coast man was hurt Wednesday morning during a home invasion where three gunmen broke into their home and forced him and his wife to lay on the ground, according to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.

The man and his wife, also 38, told deputies that as the two were sitting at the kitchen table about 7:45 a.m., three men, all wearing black ski masks and gloves, broke into their home.

The woman was forced to lie face down on the floor by one of the men, while another pointed a gun at her husband. The home invader then grabbed the man from behind, placed him in a choke hold and struck him twice in the head, according to a Flagler County Sheriff's release. The man then was forced to lay face down on the floor.

The man said the robbers took an undetermined amount of cash and jewelry. Holiday gifts and electronics were not taken, according to the victim.

Deputies are still searching for the men, and are asking for anyone with information to call Flagler County Sheriff's Office.
