According to Local 6 News partner Florida Today, a redacted Brevard County sheriff's report says Auer forced a store staffer to the ground and zip-tied the clerk's hands and ankles when the clerk tried to fight back.

"Andrew took a plastic bag from the store and placed it over (the clerk's) head in an effort to keep (him) from seeing his face," the report reads.

Auer is accused of taking the man's wallet, with $15 inside, $200 from the store register and about $100 worth of cigarettes and lottery tickets.

The sheriff's report says zip ties were found in Auer's car and some of the cigarettes and lottery tickets were found at his home.

Auer is being held in the Brevard County Jail and is scheduled for arraignment Dec. 20. He faces charges of robbery, grand theft in the third degree, false imprisonment and battery on a person 65 and older stemming from the incident, court records show.
