Deputies search for man exposing self in front of kids

Father says man flashed his kids at their Orange County bus stop

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies are searching on Thursday for a man they say has been exposing himself to children at an Orange County bus stop.

Orange County deputies say they received reports of the lewd act on Tuesday by a father, who told deputies his daughters saw a man exposing himself to them at their bus stop near East Colonial Drive and Sue Ann Street.

Surveillance cameras captured the man police call a person of interest outside of the Monoco Express convenience store on Tuesday morning around the same time the students were waiting for their school bus.

The students said the man exposed himself and then rode off on a bike.

"If he's doing that on my property he's got no right and I would like to know why he's doing it," said convenience store owner Pradip Patel.

Patel said the students came into the store to tell him a man was using the restroom behind his dumpster and then came out half-dressed.

"The kids were actually scared to come in the store," Patel said.

Hector Hernandez said he watches his 16-year-old daughter at the bus stop since students have told him they've seen the man more than once.

"I'm just really concerned about it," he said. "Every morning I have to stand up and wait until she gets to safety and that nothing happens to her."

According to deputies, the man is described as 35 to 40-years-old, around 5 feet, 9 inches and 6 feet tall with a medium build and short black hair.
