Deputies team up with Johnny Damon to stop bullying
Two-time World Series champ might draw attention to cause
Former Major League Baseball superstar Johnny Damon will be teaming up with the Lake County Sheriff's Office to stop bullying.
Damon, who won two Word Series during his 18-year career, met with deputies at Lake Minneola High School yesterday to spread the message: kids should tell someone if they're being bullied, and they always have options.
Officers hope that Damon's high profile will draw attention to their bully-prevention efforts.
