Deputies: Video leads to arrest of Port Orange nude trespasser

David McDonald charged with indecent exposure, trespassing

PORT ORANGE, Fla. – Volusia County deputies say a man was caught on camera trespassing onto a Port Orange woman's property Tuesday morning--wearing only sunglasses and shoes.

David McDonald, 37, was arrested and charged with indecent exposure and trespassing after the victim videotaped McDonald walking around her 10-acre property Tuesday at around 11 a.m. naked.

"I've got a naked man walking my fence line," the victim told the Sheriff's Office's dispatch. "He is just naked, and he was touching himself and looking up to the house."

The 66-year-old victim told deputies she was inside her kitchen when she first spotted McDonald, who was putting on clothes and then taking them off, according to a release.

"I live alone, and this is just ridiculous," the woman said. "His pants are off again. He's naked as a jaybird."

The victim took video of the naked suspect and showed authorities, who later caught up with McDonald wearing shorts and a T-shirt, along with the shoes and sunglasses. Neighbors had reported seeing McDonald riding his bicycle and walking around the woods in his underwear.

McDonald was booked into the Volusia County Jail on $1,000 bond.
