HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A young boy whose health is suffering has dreamed of going to Disney World, and a Hillsborough County deputy wants to make his dream come true before the boy completely loses his eyesight.
Tyler Gato has a progressive eye disease called retinitis pigmentosa. Because of the disease, Tyler will soon not be able to see at all. He also suffers from Usher syndrome, which is causing him to lose his hearing.
WTSP in Tampa said Hillsborough County deputy Tommy Paradiso first met Tyler when his little sister's bike was stolen. Paradiso got results for the kids by getting them both new bikes.

The deputy told WTSP that Tyler inspires him. That's why he wants one of the last things he could see to be something he's always dreamed of.
Paradiso started a GoFundMe page on Thursday to raise money for Tyler's family to take him to the "most magical place on Earth."
"He wants to see the castle at Disney and see other people enjoying it before his sight is gone completely," the fundraising page said.
The money raised on the page will also go toward covering Tyler's medical expenses as he receives treatments for his condition.
Paradiso has already collected money from other deputies and coworkers at the Sheriff's Office, WTSP said.
