Detectives search for Regions bank robbery suspect

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Orlando Police Department detectives are asking for the community’s help identifying a person responsible for a Regions bank robbery.

Police said the robbery happened at the Regions Bank on North Orange Avenue on Aug. 10.

The suspect passed the teller a note said, “Only give me hundred and fifties,” while telling her “It will be okay, just give me what it says. Just smile.”

No weapon was evident or implied.

The suspect took the handwritten note with him when he left the bank.

Police said the suspect was wearing a white shirt with a multicolored tie. The suspect removed the wig prior to exiting the bank. The victim described the suspect as having acne on both sides of his face. Suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches  to 5 feet 7 inches in height.
