Cops say man intended to meet 13-year-old girl for sex

ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando police have arrested a man on Tuesday they say was trying to have sex with a teenager in an online exploitation investigation.

Earl Crutchfield, 34, an Operations Training Assistant at Walt Disney World, was charged with traveling with intent of engage in sex with the child.

Police said Crutchfield was looking online for a teenager to have sex with and made plans with who he thought was a 13-year-old girl.

Police arrested him near South Hiawassee Road and Raleigh Street on Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. after they say he admitted to intending to meet with the child for sexual activity.

He was booked into the Orange County Jail.

Disney officials said he has been placed on unpaid leave pending the outcome of the charges.
