SAMSULA, Fla. – A history of domestic violence has been uncovered between the woman who deputies say beat her husband, shocked him with a stun gun, tied him up and dragged him behind a pickup truck.
Truck driver Jeanette Morris, 61, and her brother Harold Anderson, 63 were arrested Tuesday morning. Joan Hobart, 46, a friend of Morris', was arrested Wednesday morning after deputies say she drove the truck that was used in the dragging.
According to a 911 call released on Friday, Morris accused her ex-husband, Robert Hall, of trying to run her over, similar to what deputies say she did to him on Wednesday.
"My husband's been drinking and he just tried to run me over," she told dispatchers in the February 2012 911 call. "I got to get out of this deal, I got to somehow get out of this deal. I've been trying and I can't get out of this deal. I don't want to live in fear of being hurt."
Hall was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and domestic battery from the Feb. 2012 incident.
"You know he's been drinking, and the vodka, he gets real mean real, real mean," Morris told dispatchers.
Morris accused Hall of domestic violence at least 4 times and has filed restraining orders against Hall twice, according to court records.
The first incident occurred in 2007 before they were married, when Morris told the court that Hall got drunk and stated he "hated cops and would kill 'em all." She also said she fell asleep on the couch and awoke to find Hall standing over her with a kitchen knife.
Morris said he had threatened to knock her head in and leave her in a ditch . "He has choked me," Morris wrote.
Records show Morris never showed up in court for the restraining order, resulting in it being dismissed.
Morris filed for another restraining order in 2010 after she says Hall was drunk and spitting on the floor, then jumped from his chair and yelled "I'll show you bad," then punched her in the stomach and grabbed a knife, threatening to kill her.
She writes, that she has "never been scared of anyone but I'm scared of Bobby."
A temporary restraining order was issued for the 2010 incident, but Morris later asked the court to dismiss it, according to records.
In the latest domestic incident, Morris faces charges of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, attempted murder, false imprisonment, aggravated battery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Anderson faces charges of attempted murder, false imprisonment, aggravated battery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Hobart faces charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault.
