COCOA, Fla. – A driver is in critical condition after crashing through a fire hydrant, palm tree and a light pole, Cocoa police said.
The crash happened Tuesday at the intersection of Rosa L. Jones Boulevard and U.S. 1.
Police said a Ford 250 was heading north on U.S. 1 when it drove off the roadway and ran through a fire hydrant, palm tree and a county light pole.
The driver was transported to be flown out because of his injuries. Police said he was in critical condition as of Tuesday afternoon.
