ORLANDO, Fla. -

Florida Highway Patrol identified on Monday the driver they say was involved in the hit-and-run that killedtwo women in Pine Hills last week.

Troopers issued an arrest warrant for Brye Jenkins, 23, after they say he ran a red light through an intersection on Balboa Drive June 1, crashing into another car.

The driver of the other vehicle, 53-year-old Veronica Williams, died at the scene of the crash. Her passenger was identified as her neighbor, 78-year-old Bessie Anderson, who was transported to a hospital and died.

Anderson's daughter, Barbara Rosetta, told Local 6, "He's a coward, he doesn't have a heart at all."

Rosetta told Local 6 it has been really tough for the families; it's been hectic and quiet as the loss has left a huge void.

Jenkins has previously been caught by authorities several times with a suspended license, according to reports. He has also been arrested on robbery and drug charges.

FHP issued a warrant on vehicular homicide charges and leaving the scene of a crash involving death charges.

Williams' niece, Michelle Brown, told Local 6, "No matter how you run, you can't run because that man up above know where you at."

"Turn yourself in. Don't make it harder for the family, don't make it harder for your family, because I'm sure his family feels something too," said Rosetta.
