ORLANDO, Fla. - A 22-year-old Kissimmee man was killed early Thursday in a single-vehicle crash into an Orlando toll booth, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The FHP said Dylan D. Smith died in the crash, which occurred around 3 a.m. on northbound State Road 417 near Lee Vista Boulevard in Orange County.

According to troopers, Smith was driving a 1998 Ford Mustang northbound on S.R. 417 when he traveled through a pay lane of the toll booth and struck a cement lane barrier.  Smith was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said.

Cash lanes were closed after the crash, but traffic was moving freely in the Epass lanes.  Tolls were suspended at the stop.
