CANTON, Mass. -

Dunkin' Donuts has hatched a new confection that will have marshmallow lovers flying to the nearest location.

Starting Monday, Peeps donuts will be available at the breakfast chain in celebration of the spring season, according to a news release.

These flower-shaped sweet treats will be pastel frosted and topped with a pink or yellow Peep marshmallow chick. The seasonal addition to Dunkin’s doughnut menu was unveiled Thursday, and will only be available for a limited period of time.

"As America's [doughnut] leader, we are always seeking new and innovative doughnut varieties to help our guests celebrate special moments and occasions," Stan Frankenthaler, Dunkin' Brands' executive chef and vice president of production innovation, said in a release.
