Earthquake rocks Cuba, felt in Florida

Effects could be felt as far north as Middle Keys

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. - A 4.7 magnitude earthquake rocked central Cuba a little after 7 a.m. Sunday.

It happened in the northern part of Cuba, near Corralillo, which is east of Havana.

The effects could be felt as far north as the Middle Keys.

Residents who live in Key Colony Beach said they felt the ground shake for 20 seconds.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said they have received several phone calls about the quake and are putting together a report.
