WINTER PARK, Fla. – Evidence has been released on Tuesday in the deaths of two Winter Park High School students.
The bodies of Nicholas Presha, 16, and Jeremy Stewart, 18, were found burning by two bicyclists around 6:40 a.m. on April 15 just off Cady Way Trail near Full Sail University.
Jesse Brandon Davis, 30, and Hector Manuel Rodriguez, 31, have been charged with first-degree murder and kidnapping in the teens' deaths.
Local 6 has obtained the evidence and is in the process of going through it. It is 150 pages, including mainly statements from witnesses and confidential informants.
Davis' girlfriend, Angela Patterson, told authorities she walked into the house she shared with Davis and saw Rodriguez and Davis holding a white male and black male at gunpoint. She said the teens were naked with their hands behind their backs, according to the reports.
Patterson also said Rodriguez was providing the white male victim with cocaine and Xanax pills. She was arrested on drug charges and told detectives she wanted to tell what had happened that night because she had been reading the Bible and a Scripture compelled her to talk, according to the report.
A confidential informant also saw the boys being held at gunpoint, the report states. He told investigators he asked Rodriguez what happened to the boys and Rodriguez allegedly said, they "shot them execution-style."
Police said the teenagers were trying to sell Davis and Rodriguez stolen guns but instead, Davis and Rodriguez robbed the teens and killed them.
