TITUSVILLE, Fla. – The Brevard County Sheriff's Office has opened a new center named in honor of a fallen deputy on the anniversary of her death.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Thursday for the Barbara A. Pill Law Enforcement Facility.
The center is located on Columbus Boulevard in Titusville and will serve as the north precinct for BCSO.
Pill was killed during a traffic stop in 2012. Jury selection in the trial for the man accused in her slaying continued on Thursday.
