Ferrari totaled in Seminole County crash

Driver expected to be OK after crashing into trees

LAKE MARY, Fla. – A driver crashed his Ferrari into some trees early Monday in Seminole County, totaling the 2004 vehicle.

The crash happened around 2 a.m. along Ronald Regan Boulevard near Lake Mary.

According to officials, the driver lost control of the vehicle, which jumped a curb before crashing.  Authorities said speed was a factor in the crash.

The driver, a restaurant owner whose name has not been released, was pinned inside the vehicle but is expected to be OK.

The wreck is under investigation, and charges are pending against the driver.
