DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Crews spent hours cleaning up the wreckage of a deadly crash that killed a mother and two of her children on I-95.
FHP said 38-year-old Michelly Zulfiqar was headed towards the LPGA Boulevard exit in a van with three of her kids, when for some reason she went off the road, hitting a wall under the overpass. The impact caused her car to flip over.
James Baldwin lives across the street from the family in South Daytona and said he would always see the family having a good time outside.
"The kids are happy go lucky you always hear them having fun over there," said Baldwin.
FHP predicts Zulfiqar was traveling between 65 to 75 miles an hour without a seat belt to protect her or any of her kids.
Hami Zulfiqar, 10, Sami Zulfiqar, 4 and his 3-year-old sister Dani also died in the crash.
