CLERMONT, Fla. – A 22-year-old man was killed Saturday night in a Marion County crash, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said Justin Delaney, of Clermont, was driving his Toyota Tacoma north on Southwest Seventh Avenue Road near Southwest 45th Street at 9:40 p.m. when he drifted west across the southbound lane and hit a large tree trunk lying next to the road.

The truck flipped onto its roof after hitting the tree trunk, troopers said.
Delaney was taken to Ocala Regional Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, the Highway Patrol said.
He was not wearing a seat belt at the time, according to the crash report.
Troopers said the crash is being investigated.
