Dash camera video obtained by the Florida Highway Patrol shows a clumsy, groggy Greyhound bus driver failing a field sobriety test after he was pulled over on Sunday night.
The video shows Richard Campbell, 59, of Orlando, after a passenger called 911 to alert authorities he was driving recklessly down Interstate 95 through Volusia and Brevard counties.
The passenger told the dispatcher the driver's eyes were swollen, he kept putting his head on the steering wheel and almost hit several cars as he drifted into other lanes.
FHP's video shows Campbell undergoing the field sobriety test and then shows him in the back seat of the patrol car, where he starts yelling at himself, while twitching.
Campbell then passes out in the back seat, requiring help from the troopers to revive him.
They then rushed him to a hospital, where he was treated for two days and released.
Campbell told Local 6 on Thursday that he regrets what happened, but denies drinking any alcohol before getting behind the wheel.
He says he is glad troopers pulled him over before something bad happened to the 39 passengers that he was driving to South Florida.
Campbell was charged with DUI and bonded out of jail late Wednesday.
