Rescue officials investigate fire, not clear if OIA operations affected

ORLANDO, Fla. - Orange County fire rescue officials are investigating a brush fire that sparked near the Orlando International Airport on Friday morning.

Fire rescue officials tell Local 6 the blaze was burning near Cargo Road and Heintzelman Boulevard. It was put out just before noon on Friday.

It's not clear if the fire is affected airport operations.

No other details were immediately available.
