DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Daytona Beach firefighters, with assistance from the Florida Forest Service and Volusia County Fire Services, have contained a 15-acre brush fire.
Firefighters said the fire was located just west of LPGA Boulevard near the Bayberry Lakes Subdivision on Sunday. Officials said the fire is now 100 percent contained.
Deputies said no roads closed due to the brush fire and no homes were endangered.
Florida Forest Service was at the scene to establish a fire line around the fire to contain it, firefighters said.
Firefighters said there is currently no word how the fire started.
