Firefighters put out brush fire in Seminole County

Homeless camp may have started fire, police say

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – A brush fire that broke out between Cracker Barrel and the I-4 on-ramp has been put out, the Seminole County Fire Department said Friday night.

Police said a homeless camp may have started the 50- by 50-foot brush fire, officials said.

The fire was under control at 8:58 p.m. and was completely out at 9:30 p.m., according to the Seminole County Fire Department. Three units were called to the scene.

No injuries were reported.
