TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida House honored NASCAR driver and two-time Daytona 500 winner Jimmie Johnson.
Johnson appeared on the House floor Tuesday to receive a resolution marking his racing accomplishments and his work with charity.
Rep. Robert Schenck introduced Johnson, saying "As great of a driver he is and as great of a champion he is, he's a better person."
Johnson said the honor was "very, very cool" and told representatives, "Moments like today really wake me up and realize I'm not just driving in circles out there."
