IMMOKALEE, Fla. – A Florida woman was arrested and charged with child abuse after she threw a stroller at another woman with a baby strapped inside.
Celestina Ramirez Garcia was arrested Friday night in Immokalee after an altercation with another woman.
The Naples Daily News reports Garcia allegedly saw the other unidentified woman walking on the street and stopped her car to confront her.
Police say Garcia repeatedly punched the woman, causing her to lose consciousness, and then threw the stroller at the woman with a baby boy inside.
The stroller ended up face down, although the police report does not specify if the baby suffered any injuries.
Garcia. who has reportedly threatened the woman in the past, was charged with child abuse without great harm and battery.
