According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, Armstrong called 911 late Thursday to report a domestic battery and theft, claiming his girlfriend stole items from his home.

A deputy said Armstrong began to drink a can of beer after an investigation of the alleged incident, but Armstrong called 911 a couple hours later to report other missing items, the Sheriff's Office said.

He also stated that he wanted to find his girlfriend and "chop her up" using a machete, deputies said.

According to the Sheriff's Office, it was determined that Armstrong was intoxicated, and he made two more calls to 911 demanding that a deputy come to his house.  The Sheriff's Office said that Armstrong again stated that if a deputy does not come to his home he will handle the situation himself with a machete.

A deputy then went to Armstrong's home and arrested him.

Armstrong was taken to the Orange County Jail.
