According to the Marion County Sheriff's Office, Peterson was inside a car that struck some bushes along Highway 40.  A deputy asked her what happened, and she said she's "considered an alcoholic" and that's how she went off the roadway.

Peterson failed field sobriety tests and was arrested, deputies said.

The Sheriff's Office said Peterson's submitted to a breath test at the Marion County Jail and recorded a 0.41 blood alcohol level.  The legal limit is 0.08.
