ORLANDO, Fla. - We have a consumer alert about something you may have in your kitchen.

The company LG is recalling 161,000 electric ranges because they can suddenly spark a fire.

The government says there's a problem with the burners. They may not turn off, and that means, you could get scalded, or a fire could start.

The ranges were sold between 2006 and 2010, at places like Best Buy, Home Depot, and Sears.
